Eighteen-year-old Joren, an indigenous working student, overcomes obstacles to fulfill her dreams of being a successful teacher and educating underprivileged young children. She also takes pride in her heritage and encourages women to have the courage to aim higher.

The young aspirant pursued every possibility to fulfill her aspirations until she discovered her saving grace: beadmaking. Joren made money while she studied, thanks to the vibrant and endearing bits of ornamental things known as beads. Because beading is a popular pastime among women in their tribe, Joren got the idea to use beading as a tool for change after frequently witnessing her mother make beads. She championed women's resolve to compete in the workforce. Each bead she creates reflects her passion.

Being a Talaandig, she was introduced to the harsh reality of poverty and had to sacrifice her education in exchange for their everyday survival. Having been born in a family of six living in the mountains in Talacogon, accessibility to quality education and living a comfortable life were the primary problems that Joren faced in her childhood, which led her to stop her studies and help provide for their needs. The eager dreamer assists her father, a farmer, hoping to change their lives. Her cousins, who are studying and have reached milestones in their lives, served as her inspiration to get out of poverty. With the decision to continue her studies, Joren made sure to be of little worry to her parents as possible and used beadmaking to support her education.

Hard work and devotion empowered Joren to chase her goals amidst life's challenges. As an ethnic individual, there were instances when she experienced bullying for being a Talaandigand. She also had to endure derogatory remarks from other people. Despite these experiences, Joren still stands firm in representing her ethnic roots, the Talaandig tribe.

Dreams can be reachable through persistence and dedication to what you believe in. Joren wants to be an icon of success to other children who experienced the same thing as hers and motivate others to change their lives. She heavily emphasizes the importance of education, talent, and skills in beadmaking to sustain her goal of graduating college.

Despite cultural barriers, Joren seeks to empower women to be competent and achieve great heights. Above all, Joren aspires to represent the Talaandig tribe and showcase the beauty of cultural diversity in the workforce. Joren hopes to create an inclusive and culturally aware society, and she thinks that tiny spaces, a dreaming heart, and a few beads are where the most significant changes begin.
