TRAINING ON MS TEAMS, LOCAL DIGITAL SYSTEMS HELD

BUTUAN CITY – 03/24/2021Amidst intensive use of digital technology in the offices, the regional employees participated in the

virtual training on Microsoft Teams and the newly-developed Digital Asset Management Inventory System and Training Certificate Management Systems on March 17, 2021.Through the collaboration of Dr. Flordeliza Dalin, chief of the Human Resource Development Division, and Mr. Marcelino M. Ahon, Jr., head of the regional Information and Communications Technology Unit, the discussions focused on the usage of MS Teams and the internally developed digital systems and processes.

In her message, Regional Director Dr. Evelyn R. Fetalvero, CESO IV, encouraged the participants to be technologically literate to continually provide services to both internal and external clients despite the pandemic. “I wish everyone to have a solid learning experience today as we anticipate using more digital systems and processes in our future online transactions,” she said.

Fetalvero thanked the ICT Unit for coming up with an innovative Asset Management System that expedited several internal processes. Considering the evolving nature of digital information and communication technology, Fetalvero affirmed that the new systems had lightened some of the workloads, adding that “when our employees have the right tools, our jobs will become more enjoyable, and we become more productive.”

The resource speakers were: Mr. Marcelino M. Ahon Jr., Information Technology Officer, and Mr. Nerison S. Pitogo, Computer Programmer II.

Mr. Ahon discussed the different features and uses of MS Teams and other matters. Mr. Pitogo explained the usage of the Asset Management Inventory System and the newly-developed Training Certificate Management Systems.
