The presentation marks a critical milestone in the DepEd Caraga's strategic planning process, following a directive to establish a comprehensive three-year framework that will guide educational policies, resource allocation, and learner-centered initiatives across the Caraga region.
Under the direction of Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO III, the session convened a high-level technical working group, including Chiefs of Functional Divisions, Unit Heads, Program Coordinators, and the PPRD planning team. Facilitated by the Regional Research Coordinator Dr. Caroline L. Guerta-Dultra, the gathering served as a collaborative platform for the plan's lead writers to review the draft document, reorient on specific divisional assignments, and share expert insights to ensure the plan remains responsive to the evolving needs of the field.
According to PPRD Chief Violeta C. Nunez, the development plan is DepEd Caraga's blueprint for excellence over the next three years. She added that by consolidating inputs from regional leadership and program owners, DepEd Caraga's strategic goals remain achievable and grounded in the realities in Caraga schools.
The midterm plan prioritizes improving the regional learning outcomes, strengthening administrative efficiency, and promoting transparent and accountable governance.
