This strategic initiative aims to equip PSHS-CRC with the essential knowledge and understanding of global assessments. The program seeks to enhance the school's readiness and align its instructional methods with international standards, fostering a deeper comprehension of these assessments.

As part of this effort, DepEd Butuan has deployed facilitators to provide technical assistance, ensuring that faculty members and students of PSHS-CRC are well-versed in the intricacies and significance of international assessments. These assessments serve as critical benchmarks for comparing the performance of students and schools against international educational standards, paving the way for continuous improvement and global competitiveness.

Dr. Albis emphasized the importance of fostering between DepEd and academic institutions like PSHS-CRC to elevate the quality of education in the region. “This collaboration is a step forward in ensuring that our students are not only nationally competent but are also globally competitive. Through this initiative, we aim to support our educators and learners in achieving excellence in international assessments,” emphasized SDS Albis during an interview.

The initiative reflects DepEd Butuan's commitment to academic excellence and innovation in education. By extending technical assistance and fostering collaborations, the agency continues to push for higher learning standards, preparing students to face global challenges.

Moving forward, DepEd Butuan and PSHS-CRC plan to expand their collaboration by introducing additional training programs, familiarization activities with international assessments, and capacity-building initiatives. The goal of these efforts is to elevate students' academic performance and competitiveness within Caraga Region and beyond.
