The training series, which kicked off on May 11 at the Amontay Beach Resort, represents a major milestone in the regionโs preparation for the upcoming academic transitions. The program is a collaborative effort between the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD), the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP)-Caraga, and the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD), under the direction of Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO III.

The training is strategically structured into three week-long phases to provide specialized focus on different grade levels and subject areas:
1. Ongoing (May 11โ15): Focus on the Revised Grade 6 Curriculum.
2. Upcoming (May 18โ22): Focus on the Revised Grades 9 & 10 Curriculum (General Subjects).
3. Final Phase (May 25โ29): Focus on the Revised Grades 9 & 10 TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education) Curriculum.

As the first week of training progresses, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Chiefs are currently on-site serving as process observers to monitor the quality of the sessions. They will be followed by School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) Chiefs during the second week of the program.
The activity aims to Capacitate trainers on the key updates and features of the revised curriculum; standardize understanding of new learning competencies and assessment practices; and empower regional trainers to effectively cascade these changes to their respective divisions and schools.

DepEd Caraga underscores the importance of this training, mandating full attendance for the duration of each session. "We are ensuring that our trainers are not just informed, but fully equipped to lead their respective divisions through these curriculum changes," said Mr. Bernabe L. Linog, Chief of CLMD.
