The meeting aimed to strengthen collaborative planning and operational readiness for the 2026 Palarong Pambansa, gathering key officials and stakeholders to align preparations and strategic implementation measures, addressing critical operational requirements, and strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO III, led the meeting and underscored the importance of careful planning, strong coordination, and efficient implementation of activities. Discussions centered on protocol management, safety and security measures, accommodation and handling of VIP attendees, opening ceremony preparations, and other essential operational concerns to ensure an organized, safe, and memorable hosting experience.
Present during the meeting were Marivic Toletol, Palarong Pambansa Secretariat; Danah Rufalyn Buquir, Provincial Tourism Officer; Dr. Jumer Carlon, Regional Sports Officer; Minerva T. Albis, Schools Division Superintendent; Josita B. Carmen, Schools Division Superintendent; together with Regional Office Chiefs and Functional Division representatives.
Through strengthened collaboration and shared commitment among partner agencies and education leaders, DepEd Caraga continues to intensify its efforts in delivering a successful and exemplary 2026 Palarong Pambansa that will showcase not only athletic excellence but also the regionโs unity, hospitality, and organizational competence.
