The meeting gathered key regional personnel to align efforts, strengthen existing programs, and explore new initiatives focused on employee well-being.

During the meeting, participants discussed the need to establish a comprehensive health profile of all regional office personnel to better inform and guide the implementation of health-responsive programs.

Plans were also laid out for upcoming wellness initiatives, including the provision of free medical consultations and health assessments for RO employees, aimed at encouraging early detection of illnesses and promoting preventive healthcare.

Another key topic discussed was the proposed grant of a medical allowance to qualified DepEd personnel. This initiative is envisioned to provide much-needed financial support for employees' healthcare needs and enhance overall morale. Additionally, the group explored the institutionalization of "Interest Day," a proposed program designed to promote work-life balance by allowing employees to engage in activities aligned with their interests and passions.

Through this coordination meeting, DepEd Caraga reaffirms its belief that caring for its people goes hand in hand with delivering quality public service. The office remains committed to fostering a workplace culture where wellness, compassion, and professional growth coexist in harmony.
