As part of the initiative, each SDO, through its division research coordinator, is tasked to craft a research bulletin that encapsulates ten completed research studies. These bulletins aim to present research findings in a format that is concise, accessible, and actionable for educators, school leaders, and policy makers.
PPRD Chief Dr. Violeta C. Nunez detailed the following objectives:
a. Summarize complex research into digestible, reader-friendly formats;
b. Share results of publicly funded or mandated research;
c. Highlight findings that can inform policy, programs, or instructional strategies;
d. Encourage others to apply or replicate findings.
Each Research Bulletin includes the following components: Introduction, Findings and Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations, and References.
These bulletins are expected to expand the reach of research outputs and support evidence-based decision-making across the region.
During the session, Caroline Guerta, Regional Research Coordinator, spotlighted two studies previously featured in Research Oโclock, a research congress organized by the DepEd Central Office:

These studies demonstrated how localized and thematic approaches can improve literacy and assessment practices in schools.
Through this initiative, DepEd Caraga reinforces its commitment to evidence-based decision-making and ensures that research findings contribute directly to educational improvement across the region.
