Nasipit Municipal Mayor Roscoe Democrito B. Plaza, Vice Mayor Felipe O. Abigan Jr., Schools Division Superintendent Jeanie L. Mativo, and Public Schools District Supervisor Arnold Solen joined them, forming a collaborative team of regional, local government, and education leaders who worked together to ensure the visitโs success.
During the visit, the discussions were more focused on improving school facilities, providing essential resources, and strengthening the learning environment for students and teachers. This joint assessment reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that educational institutions in the municipality are equipped to meet the evolving needs of learners, reassuring the audience about the future of education in their community.
The dialogue also highlighted Nasipitโs upcoming role as the host of the 2026 Regional Secondary Press Conference (RSPC) and the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) โ two major regional events that will bring together young journalists and talented learners from across Caraga.
These gatherings are expected to not only showcase the exceptional skills of Caraganon students but also foster collaboration, creativity, and cultural pride within the community, creating an exciting and engaging atmosphere.
With this joint effort, DepEd Caraga, the local government of Nasipit, and education stakeholders reaffirm their commitment to providing quality education, supporting student excellence, and preparing the municipality for bigger opportunities in the years ahead.
