The Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Malcolm S. Garma, Secretary General of the Palarong Pambansa, joined regional directors from across the country in formally receiving the assistance.
In his message, Governor Cane expressed gratitude to all participating regions for their confidence in Agusan del Sur as host of this yearโs Palarong Pambansa. โThank you for trusting Agusan del Sur to host this Palarong Pambansa,โ Governor Cane said.
The activity underscored the provinceโs commitment to ensuring the welfare and readiness of athletes, coaches, and delegates throughout the national sporting event. It also highlighted the strong collaboration between the local government and private stakeholders in promoting sports development and hospitality for visiting delegations.
Also present during the turnover were First District Representative Alfel Bascug, Vice Governor Patricia Anne Plaza, Naliyagan Stakeholders Foundation Inc. (NSFI) President Judith Miro, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
The ceremonial turnover forms part of the provinceโs continuing efforts to provide meaningful support and ensure a successful and memorable experience for all delegates joining Palaro Tu AgSur 2026.
