𝐈𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞-𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. The visit aimed to show support for athletes, campus journalists, and student-scientists preparing for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa, National Schools Press Conference (NSPC), National Festival of Talents (NFOT), and National Science and Technology Fair (NSTF), respectively, held in Cebu City from July 9–17, 2024. Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO IV, and Assistant Regional Director Pedro T. Escobarte Jr., CESO IV, led the entire regional office personnel in extending a warm welcome to Governor Amante and her staff. Also present were Agusan del Norte Schools Division Superintendent Jeanie L. Mativo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Hector Macalalag, and other Division officials, highlighting the enthusiasm of the DepEd leadership for its strong partnership with the provincial government. The meeting focused on exploring possibilities of maximizing available resources for the delegates, believing in the power of holistic education as a tool for national development and pride. The Palaro, NSPC, NFOT, and NSTF are platforms where young talents from across the country showcase their skills, discipline, and competitive spirit.
