The activity brought together SBFP personnel from the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office and Schools Division Offices (SDOs), SBFP focal persons, and food suppliers from across the Caraga Region. The forum served as a platform to strengthen coordination, enhance collaboration, and ensure readiness for effective program implementation.
Key discussions centered on the availability, production capacity, and volume of food commodities from local suppliers, as well as service delivery strategies to support the efficient rollout of the SBFP for SY 2026โ2027. Participants also worked to align operational plans to ensure the timely and consistent delivery of nutritious meals to beneficiary learners.
Through strengthened partnerships among government agencies, education stakeholders, and local suppliers, the initiative aims to ensure the efficient implementation of the feeding program while simultaneously supporting local agricultural producers and improving the nutrition and well-being of learners across the region.
