𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲-𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

As part of this expansion, the Schools Division of Bislig City piloted the scaled-up implementation through a capacity-building activity held on April 15, 2026. The event took place at the Bislig City Highland Function Farm, Hotel, and Catering Services located in Purok 3, John Bosco District, Mangagoy, Bislig City.

In support of the activity, Josephine C. Obseñares, Education Program Supervisor and Regional ALS Focal Person, served as one of the resource persons who provided technical inputs focusing on the roles of teachers and raters in the ALS Micro-Certification of Life Skills, as well as highlighted the salient provisions of DepEd Order No. 001, s. 2026.

The activity equipped ALS implementers with the necessary knowledge and competencies to effectively carry out the micro-certification process, ensuring quality and standardization across participating divisions.

Through this initiative, DepEd continued to uphold its commitment to inclusive and accessible education by empowering ALS learners with essential life skills that contribute to lifelong learning and sustainable development.
