The Early Registration period begins on January 25, 2025, and will run until February 15, 2025. This initiative ensures that all new entrants to the specified grade levels are registered early, facilitating a smooth and efficient enrollment process. Public elementary and secondary schools are directed to implement the following guidelines during the Early Registration period:

1. 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Schools may conduct face-to-face registration within school premises or implement other means to reach learners and collect early registration forms, ensuring accessibility for all.

2. 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦: Schools are required to use the printed or electronic version of the Basic Education Early Registration Form to capture essential information accurately. The form is accessible at this link: https://bit.ly/SY2025-2026EarlyRegForm.

3. 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐋𝐈𝐒: School heads or administrators must input daily registration data into the Learner Information System (LIS) Early Registration facility to maintain updated records.

4. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐭-𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐞: Schools must enforce the kindergarten cut-off age as outlined in DO 020, s. 2018, which amends DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016.

5. 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Schools are encouraged to conduct child-mapping and house-to-house campaigns to reach school-aged children and Out-of-School Children and Youth (OSCY) within their communities.

6. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬: Schools Division Superintendents and school heads are tasked to lead advocacy campaigns to inform the public about Early Registration and encourage parents/guardians to register prospective learners.
