The activity brought together personnel from the Regional Office Quality Assurance Division, along with Senior Education Program Specialists (SEPS) and Education Program Specialists II (EPS II) from all 12 Schools Division Offices in the region. It served as a platform to align policies, share practices, and refine systems governing public and private education partnerships.
At the core of the writeshop was the development of a Public-Private Education Toolkit, which outlined policies, standards, and procedures to support effective collaboration between public and private education providers. The initiative also aimed to harmonize regulatory and developmental processes to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency in the management of private education services.
Participants drew from regional and divisional experiences to identify lessons learned and practical approaches, ensuring that the toolkit was grounded in actual implementation contexts and responsive to current governance needs. The discussions also emphasized shared accountability and stakeholder participation in strengthening education governance.
Through this completed writeshop, DepEd Caraga, through the Quality Assurance Division, advanced responsive governance and sustainable publicโprivate partnerships in support of quality and inclusive education across the region.
