The meeting served as a vital platform for the regional management team to review operational accomplishments, address key administrative concerns, and align division initiatives with the region’s educational priorities. Through active engagement, the REXECOM underscored the importance of accountability, collaboration, and innovation in sustaining quality service delivery.

Highlights of the meeting included updates on the status of regional office construction, budget utilization reports by functional divisions, and the distribution of teaching overload funds to School Division Offices. The committee also tackled the recomposition of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and other urgent operational matters to streamline internal processes further.

Following the discussions, several significant agreements were reached to ensure the continuity and efficiency of regional operations. The body agreed to communicate the allocation of the quick response fund for the 43-year-old Kalahi building in Agusan del Sur and to facilitate the display of signed Oaths of Office for all personnel. It was also resolved that program owners would conduct regular interfacing to monitor fund status and implementation of Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs).

Furthermore, the committee instructed the submission of procurement requests for textbooks and instructional materials by October 15, 2025, and the allocation of a budget for region-led Indigenous Peoples (IP)–related activities. In light of the recent earthquake, the group likewise identified targeted intervention programs to support the recovery and well-being of affected teachers and learners.

Director Asuncion emphasized that the region’s success relies on proactive coordination and shared responsibility among divisions. “Our leadership must always translate into concrete actions that uplift the quality of education and strengthen the welfare of our learners and personnel,” she emphasized.

The REXECOM concluded with a renewed commitment from all functional division chiefs to uphold excellence, responsiveness, and transparency in advancing DepEd Caraga’s educational mandate.
