Spearheaded by QAD Chief Marlyne Villareal, the three-day activity aims to strengthen the accuracy and reliability of data collected in assessing the curriculumโs implementation. The participants, including school heads, M&E supervisors, and focal persons from regional and division offices, are expected to gain essential skills in validation techniques and data analysis to enhance evidence-based decision-making.
A highlight of todayโs morning session was the discussion by Dr. Elmer Augustus Conde on DepEd Memorandum No. 44, s. 2023: Interim Guidelines for the Quality Assurance and Monitoring and Evaluation of NEAP Core Programs, providing insights on upholding quality standards in educational programs and activities.
โThis workshop is a step forward in ensuring that the Matatag Curriculum delivers its intended outcomes. Reliable data is crucial in guiding our policies and interventions to improve learner outcomes,โ emphasized QAD Chief Villareal.
The initiative underscores DepEd Caragaโs commitment to fostering data-driven solutions and continuous improvement in implementing the Matatag Curriculum, aligning with the Departmentโs mission to deliver quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education.
The activity forms part of DepEd Caragaโs strategic efforts to cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence within the region.
