The RMEA-PIRPA convened 28 regional employees composed of the chiefs of the Functional Divisions (FDs), unit heads, and program owners to assess the first quarter performance of nine regional offices related to the status of their program implementation during the first quarter of 2025, in compliance with statutory and regulatory policy standards.
This activity aligns with DepEd Caraga's mandate to ensure continuous improvement in organizational performance and the delivery of basic education services.
The objectives of the RMEA-PIRPA include monitoring and evaluating the performance of each FD and unit of the regional office in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities (PPAs); identifying gaps, challenges, and areas for improvement in basic education service delivery; and providing technical assistance and recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
Moreover, the activity tracks office performance against committed targets in the Office Performance Commitment and Review Form (OPCRF). Meanwhile, the Program Implementation Review and Plan Adjustment (PIRPA) monitors accomplishments of outputs and activities, as well as budget utilization.
Through the Program Monitoring Information System (PMIS), the implementation of programs and projects is tracked, and necessary plan adjustments are made.
This collaborative effort underscores DepEd Caraga's commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in education service delivery, ensuring that all units work cohesively towards the region's educational goals.
