The review served as a platform to assess operational performance, address key issues, and act on the agreed priorities to be implemented in the first half of 2026.

One of the major points of action was the improvement of the infrastructure within the Regional Office, which includes the repair of the Nickel Hall, electrical wirings, amenities, and the enhancement of security and safety for the entire complex especially during emergency situations.

In line with DepEd’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the top management directed the preparation and issuance of a memorandum for Project: A Million Trees, along with the organization of Regional Office Tree Planting Activities.

The review likewise emphasized environmental compliance within office premises. A Request for Action (RFA) shall be issued regarding unsegregated garbage, with a directive that such waste shall not be collected until proper segregation is observed.

To strengthen monitoring and documentation, offices were instructed to submit a copy of the report on the Status of Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) under Agenda 4 to the QMR Secretariat. Correspondingly, the Quality Assurance Division (QAD) shall issue the necessary RFAs to Field Divisions (FDs) and Units, as applicable.

Further agreements include the conduct of a re-orientation on the Program Management Information System (PMIS), with mandatory participation of all Program Owners and Unit Heads, to enhance planning, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Other key action points include the determination of the source of funds for the travel of the Technical Working Group (TWG), Regional Field Technical Assistance Team (RFTAT), and other concerned personnel, as well as the re-uploading of all standard forms and templates to the ISO Portal.

Addressing an Opportunity for Improvement (OFI), the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Unit was also tasked to assist in restoring the internet connection to ensure uninterrupted operations and service delivery.

The Quarter 4 Management Review reaffirmed DepEd Caraga’s commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and coordinated action in delivering quality, accessible, and sustainable education services across the region.
