The second day of the workshop, held on May 16โ17, 2025, at Nickel Hall, Teacher Development Center, featured expert-led discussions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with government standards.
Ms. Elsie D. Mongado, AO IV, delivered a session on โExpanding Knowledge on Procurement Process and PhilGEPS,โ providing participants with essential insights into government procurement systems and best practices.
Meanwhile, Ms. Fe M. Baring, TCE II, with Ms. Sheryl R. Puyo, as alternate speaker, conducted a comprehensive discussion on โExpanding Knowledge on ERF Processing,โ guiding attendees through the proper handling and processing of Equivalent Record Forms (ERFs) and related documentation.
Ms. Cristabelle R. Jaguit, Head of the Records Unit, also led an insightful session on Records Management. She emphasized best practices and efficient systems to ensure organized, accurate, and accessible documentation across schools. She highlighted the K.I.S.S. principleโKeep It Simple and Systematicโas a guiding approach to streamlining records-related processes and promoting efficiency at the school level.
The two-day workshop reaffirmed DepEd Caragaโs commitment to continuous professional development and capacity enhancement of its non-teaching personnel. By equipping Administrative Officers with updated knowledge and practical skills, the region ensures more efficient service delivery and stronger support systems in schools, all in pursuit of delivering quality, accessible, and responsive basic education.
