BUTUAN CITY, May 15, 2025—𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱) 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗖. The workshop aims to equip Administrative Officers II with a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities and to enhance their competencies in key functional areas such as human resource management, procurement processes, and financial reporting. Participants are also expected to demonstrate their knowledge and application of updated DepEd policies, systems, and procedures. Additionally, the activity promotes a collaborative approach to problem-solving and the efficient execution of administrative tasks.

Meriam C. Dela Rita, the Supervising Administrative Officer, discussed “Deepening the Roles and Responsibilities of AO II” and provided an overview of Key Result Areas (KRAs). As part of her session, Dela Rita concluded with a quote from Mother Teresa to inspire participants: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” Zenylou F. Buyan, Administrative Officer V, delivered a session on “Property and Supply Management,” while Nerison S. Pitogo presented on “Introduction to Digital Tools or Portals for Administrative Functions.”

Adrienne B. Planas, Accountant III from the Bislig City Division, conducted a session on “Deepening on Budgeting and MOOE Downloading,” and Sheryl R. Puyo, Administrative Officer V, discussed “Understanding DepEd Recruitment and Selection of Applicants and the Latest HR-Related Policies.”

More than eighty participants from various division offices across the region joined this batch. The activity will run until tomorrow, May 16, 2025, allowing for more in-depth topic discussions.
