The activity aims to assess and recognize the best GPP implementers across schools in the region, highlighting their innovative practices in school-based gardening, nutrition promotion, and environmental stewardship.
Five personnel from the DepEd Bureau of Learner Support ServicesโSchool Health Division (BLSSโSHD), specifically from the Nutrition and Hygiene Team, participated in the regional monitoring and evaluation activity. The team is composed of Ma. Sophia M. Delos Reyes, Christine Gem B. Lacuin, Ellafher G. Ramos, Ted C. Pinto, and Jasperl Niรฑa A. Malabuyoc, Technical Assistant II.
Together with DepEd Caraga personnel, the monitoring team will visit Mt. Olive Elementary School, Quezon Integrated School, and Maglambing Integrated School in Bayugan City; and Trinidad Elementary School, Sta. Maria Integrated School and San Vicente II National High School in Surigao del Sur.
Through this initiative, DepEd Caraga cultivates a culture of sustainability and healthy living among learners by empowering schools to adopt productive and environmentally friendly gardening practices.
