𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

This milestone was made possible through the technical assistance of DepEd Caraga’s Human Resource Development Division (HRDD), led by Chief Flordelisa R. Dalin, alongside the support and expertise of the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) staff. NEAP-Caraga Focal Marlyne Villareal, SEPS Roy S. Rele, and EPS II Elmer F. Conde also played crucial roles in guiding and capacitating each SDO, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to meet PRC’s rigorous CPD accreditation standards.

Accreditation as a CPD Provider enables each SDO to design and deliver PRC-recognized training programs and workshops tailored to teacher professional needs. It allows them convenient access to the resources required for career progression. Thus, they now have a simplified route to earning the PRC-required CPD units for license renewal, career progression, promotion, and specialization. Teachers can now participate in PRC-accredited learning sessions to gain the necessary units and acquire practical skills within their divisions, saving them travel time and resources.

Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion expressed her excitement over the accreditation, noting, “This marks a significant milestone for DepEd Caraga. In addition to raising the bar for professional teaching standards, we support the development and potential of all educators in our area by enabling each division to become a registered CPD Provider. Teachers are at the core of education, and we take pride in supporting them as they strive for excellence.”

With this accreditation, the CPD programs will address various relevant topics, including 21st-century teaching strategies, digital skills, mental health and wellness, and inclusive education. DepEd Caraga ensures that teachers are well-prepared to navigate and contribute meaningfully to the learning environment.

The DepEd Caraga CPD providers have already begun preparing programs and activities scheduled to launch in the coming months. Educators interested in participating can stay updated through their respective SDOs for further announcements and scheduling.

This accreditation aligns with the goal of creating a progressive and encouraging learning environment that supports professional and personal growth for teachers. Caraga educators now have more access to opportunities that enable them to lead, innovate, and inspire learners in their classrooms.
