During a strategic meeting with DepEd Caraga Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, local leaders and DepEd officials came together to map out a comprehensive infrastructure development program. This program, aimed at addressing the growing need for quality and accessible learning spaces in Agusan del Sur, instills a sense of security and optimism about the region's future. It is a crucial step not only in expanding educational access but also in laying down the foundation for a successful Palaro hosting.

Closely linked to the classroom initiative are the ongoing and exciting preparations for the Palarong Pambansa. In the same meeting, RD Asuncion and DepEd engineers presented updates on the billeting and sports venues, which are being assessed and improved to accommodate thousands of student-athletes and officials from across the country. These efforts underscore that Caraga's readiness goes beyond infrastructure—it is about delivering an experience marked by excellence and hospitality.

To ensure the seamless execution of both projects, a multi-agency committee has been activated, bringing together representatives from DepEd, DPWH, and other key stakeholders. With cluster leaders authorized to call and coordinate with their teams, the approach promotes accountability, collaboration, and timely delivery of results. Oversight is shared by local executives and regional technical experts, reinforcing the idea that readiness is a collective responsibility.

What sets Caraga apart is the interconnection between its educational goals and sporting aspirations—investments in classrooms and venues are part of one bold vision: to elevate the region's capacity while leaving a lasting legacy for learners and communities alike.
