A series of in-kind donations was formally turned over to DepEd Caraga, reinforcing the strong spirit of partnership and shared commitment to youth development and sports excellence. Among the contributions were string bags, towels, and caps from BDO Network Bank; visor caps and string bags from BPI Legazpi Savings Bank; deodorants from Rexona; and SM vouchers from SM.
Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion personally received the turnover of donations during a courtesy visit. Director Asuncion conveyed her heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing that the continued support of partners plays a vital role in ensuring the welfare and readiness of athletes and coaches representing the Caraga region.
Representatives from partner institutions graced the turnover ceremony. From BDO Network Bank, present were Mr. Almer J. Apit, Branch Head; Ms. Jessica H. Bajaro, Branch Head; Mr. Glenn F. Gasco, Team Leader; and Mr. Mel Mathew G. Monte, Sales Support Assistant. Mr. Jonathan Lagura, Area Business Manager, and Ms. Joann De Asis, Division Head, represented BPI Legazpi Savings Bank.
In addition, teacher-coaches and members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) also received umbrellas and handheld fans, which are particularly useful in addressing the challenges of unpredictable weather conditions during field assignments and sporting activities.
Further strengthening the initiative, ATB Sourcing OPC extended additional support by donating medicine kits intended for Caraga athletes. The kits, personally turned over by company manager Ms. Michelle Lola, are designed to provide immediate medical assistance during competitions and emergencies.
These collective contributions underscore the importance of public-private partnerships in promoting not only athletic excellence but also the health, safety, and overall well-being of every member of the delegation. DepEd Caraga remains deeply grateful for these continuing collaborations and looks forward to sustaining meaningful partnerships that inspire unity, service, and excellence in the years ahead.
