CABADBARAN CITY, February 16, 2026–𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱) 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 – 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺.

The initiative, spearheaded by the DepEd Caraga Regional Office in partnership with SDO Cabadbaran City, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Office, and other stakeholders, brought together selected teachers and school heads from SDO Agusan del Norte and Cabadbaran City, with SDO Cabadbaran City serving as the host division.

The half-day program began with registration and an opening ceremony featuring the National Anthem, a prayer, the Caraga Hymn, the DepEd Cabadbaran Hymn, and the DepEd Quality Policy Statement. Inspirational messages from education leaders and partners highlighted the importance of prioritizing the well-being of educators, who serve as pillars of quality education in the region.

Participants enjoyed a wide array of wellness and makeover services, including hairdressing and hairstyling, manicures and pedicures, and massages. A Zumba activity energized the attendees, while TESDA conducted an information drive, TM registration, and a bartending service demonstration. Partner booths also added vibrancy and engagement to the celebration.

Organizers acknowledged that the success of this milestone initiative was made possible through the unwavering support and leadership of Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion, Assistant Regional Director Pedro T. Escobarte Jr., Schools Division Superintendent of Cabadbaran City Imelda N. Sabornido, and ESSD Chief Edmund D. Mendoza. Their dedication to educator welfare and morale upliftment was instrumental in bringing the event to life.

More than a simple makeover, the Valentine's Day celebration honored the dedication, resilience, and passion of Caraga's teachers and principals, reminding them that they are valued, appreciated, and celebrated not only for their service but for who they are as individuals.
