It was highlighted by the presence of Agusan del Sur 1st District Congressman Hon. Alfel Bascug, marking the first time an Agusanon congressman actively participated in the Palarong Pambansa bidding process, underscoring broad and high-level support for the province.
Highlighting the significance of this unified effort, Gov. Cane remarked, โWhile this will encourage sportsmanship and camaraderie among athletes, schools, divisions, and regions across the country, it will also support our thrust of promoting and fortifying sports tourism in the province." Gov. Cane assured the Committee that the province "will provide top-notch facilities, accommodations, security, transportation, and other essential amenities required for a successful event."
