Flag Raising highlights "Ginoo at Mutya ng Wika 2018"

Dr. Alejandro P. Macadatar & Ms. Grace Shamergie A. Aguilar BUTUAN CITY/August 18, 2018 To add extra fun to the otherwise solemn ritual, the employees from the regional office and Agusan del Norte division office conducted the culmination of the Buwan ng Wika in style, with the "coronation" of Dr. Alejandro P. Macadatar as "Ginoo ng Wika 2018" and Ms. Grace Shamergie A. Aguilar as "Mutya ng Wika 2018." The two earned the nod of the "judges" with their colorful filipinianas and their equally colorful display of "national pride." In his inimitable sense of humor, Dr. Macadatar quipped, "I've spent three months to prepare for this (moment)." Aguilar, for her part, thanked the organizers for allowing her to wear the sash that she herself had made. The "pageant," conducted after the flag raising ceremony at the Teacher Development Center in Butuan City, was hosted by the Agusan del Norte Administrative Division led by Mrs. Corazon C.
