𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝-𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐂𝐃) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟒 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐌𝐎𝐔) 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 (𝐁𝐄-𝐋𝐂𝐏) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Present at the event were Hon. Rolando E. Millan, RME, ABC President and the 24 Brgy. Captains of Bislig City who were the signatories who finalized the agreement in a ceremony cum Christmas Party held on December 22, 2021, at 9:00 am at San Fernando Brgy. Hall.

Under the agreement, the Brgy. Captains shall: (1) provide full support to all school programs, activities, and projects under their respective barangays; (3) encourage constituent children of school age to enroll and ensure that they finish the entire academic year; (4) assist learners’ parents who have difficulties in helping their child/children use the modules; (5) ensure strict observance of health protocols at the drop-off/releasing area in schools during the distribution and retrieval of modules; and most importantly, (6) provide the necessary support to all schools undertakings within their means and strictly monitor the implementation of health protocols during limited face-to-face classes.

The collaboration is a shared responsibility between DepEd and LGU that aims to strengthen and improve public trust and confidence in the pursuit to continue education amidst the pandemic.
