The following is the transcript of her message:
โIn our workplace, the first principle I really love is: If our people feel good, they produce great results. So we will have a happy journey. It does not necessarily mean that we compromise quality, but the quality would be able to flow naturally if our hearts are happy. If our minds are peaceful, we become very creative.
โWe are one family. This is our professional family. On top of all DepEd Caraga families involving the 12 Schools Division Offices, kahit parehas lang ang mga Salary Grades ninyo sa mga Divisions, you are first among equals. Regional Office personnel, whatever position you got, you are first among equals.
โYou got to lead the Schools Division Offices. You represent the Regional Director. You represent the Assistant Regional Director. You represent the Functional Division Chiefs. Even the Security Guard represents the Regional Director.
โWhatever you say, everybody will believe and follow. So let us paint a good image of our regional office. Let us be productive. We will be the leaders of Caraga. We are the "brave souls;" we are the ones who write the future of our learners. Whatever we do today will have repercussions in our future. If we want a brighter future, let us do it now. How to do it? By delivering our mandates.
โAlthough we did not touch the learners directly, we did the teachers indirectly. So whatever services we give to our teachers will have a repercussion on our learners. Let us be happy with our work. Let us make it our lifestyle. Our work is our life. Because we live, we grow, personally and professionally, with the Department of Education.
After the ceremony, she met with the Chiefs of Functional Divisions, Unit Heads, and Process Owners for the first REXECOM.
