GIZ representatives onsite were Frederick Madrid, Joan Salise, and Kimmy Wee, while Hubo Pakes, Leah Abarientos, and Vienna Sevilla joined the meeting via an online platform.
According to Pakes, the SDO can input data into the dashboard system. The data would be accessible by the LGUs to help them plan and make data-driven decisions relative to Wash in Schools (WinS) program implementation. Moreover, the system would facilitate efficient communication between parties and enable real-time identification of program needs and other concerns.
During the consultative meeting, the Schools Division Superintendents and GIZ discussed the present WinS status, planned development of WinS data using dashboards for the perspective of LGU, experiences from collaborations with LGU during education planning meetings, and the possibilities of capacity building of education managers in lobbying support for WinS implementation.
The regional WinS program is under the supervision of the Education Support Services Division (ESSD) headed by Chief Bernabe L. Linog, in coordination with the Regional WinS focal person Dr. Anna Liza Lerio.
