A dedicated team facilitated the activity, including Dr. Ana Liza Lerio (Dentist III), Dr. Jumer C. Carlon (Medical Officer IV), Rena Grace G. Tul-Id (Nutritionist-Dietician II), Charlestone A. Otaza (TA II), Leah Ellen Y. Yaoyao (TA I), and Lee Anne Mae L. Alicaya (TA I).
Key discussions centered on progress updates, financial reports, and the current status of various health and nutrition programs under OK sa DepEd. These include the School-Based Feeding Program, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WinS), Adolescent Reproductive Health, the School Mental Health Program, and the National Drug Education Program. Break-out sessions provided a platform to address implementation challenges and ensure the proper utilization of resources.
Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) Hector DN Macalalag of the Division of Agusan del Norte delivered an inspiring message, underscoring the shared responsibility of stakeholders in ensuring the success of Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd. He described it as a comprehensive initiative promoting learners' and personnel' health and well-being. ESSD Chief Edmund D. Mendoza reinforced this perspective, inspiring participants to view the program not merely as a set of activities but as a transformative power that impacts lives and shapes a healthier, brighter future.
