𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – Regional Director Maria Ines C. Asuncion presided over a coordination meeting to finalize preparations for the Regional Assembly of Education Leaders (RAEL), scheduled to take place from January 15th to 17th, 2025. Organized by the Philippine Association of Schools Superintendents (PASS) Caraga, the event will convene 1,030 esteemed participants, including Schools Division Superintendents, Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, Chief Education Supervisors, School Heads, and other pivotal education stakeholders. Regional Office FD Chiefs and Unit Heads, along with the SDSs and ASDSs, were present at the meeting.

The assembly, themed “Revitalizing and Scaling Up Educational Initiatives and Innovations in Caraga Region,” seeks to foster collaboration and exchange of best practices to address the region’s educational priorities. Director Asuncion underscored the paramount importance of ensuring seamless execution, ensuring that the event’s objectives align seamlessly with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) mission of providing quality and inclusive education.

The RAEL will comprise plenary sessions, workshops, and presentations from distinguished speakers, equipping participants with strategies to catalyze educational innovation and sustainable development within the Caraga Region.
