Encouraging a proactive approach to commitment, RD Asuncion urged all regional employees to arrive 15 minutes before the official start of office hours and to demonstrate dedication and readiness to extend working hours if required. The message resonated with the ethos of going above and beyond the ordinary form of public service.

In interactions with colleagues and clients, RD Asuncion highlighted the importance of listening like a sage. She stressed the need for fairness and justice, particularly in evaluating applicants, and the importance of internalizing individual accountabilities daily.

“We cannot just work for the salary. We have to work for the people. If you love your organization, you will love your work. And you will become successful," articulated RD Asuncion. The office standards, she added, are intricately linked to each respective responsibility and must be adhered to consistently.

RD Asuncion affirmed that genuine dedication to public service calls for a personal commitment to the organization and its mission. Her invitation to embrace empathy, commitment, and alignment with organizational values serves as a rallying cry for DepEd Caraga to strive for success and give a meaningful service that impacts the lives of the people in Caraga.
