𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹, 𝗧𝗔-𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗩. In his opening remarks, ESSD Chief Edmund D. Mendoza highlighted the vital role coaches play in training athletes and as mentors and role models. He emphasized that the program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of coaches while reinforcing their commitment to guiding athletes toward excellence. The program featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Renato Jose Villanueva, Rolan Ugmad, PSDS of Bislig City, and Jimmy T. Jesuro, RGC. They conducted insightful sessions on Sports Physiology, Physical Conditioning and Nutrition for Athletes, Leadership, Coaching Strategies, Mental Health and Well-Being, and Coach-Athlete Relationships. One hundred sixty-five coaches from 12 Schools Division Offices (SDOs) participated in the training, with each SDO represented by 13 coaches. The event successfully equipped participants with valuable knowledge and strategies, enhancing their capacity to develop and support athletes in their respective divisions.
