NASIPIT, AGUSAN DEL NORTE, February 04, 2025—A day after conducting technical inspections of playing venues for the upcoming Caraga Regional Athletic Games, DepEd Caraga officials met with key representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Nasipit to further solidify preparations for the regional sporting event, which will take place from 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

Representatives from the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐍𝐏), 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐅𝐏), 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐎), 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, and members of the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐭 were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐧 presented the findings of the 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 from the 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, highlighting the 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 to ensure their readiness for the games. The discussion also covered the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬, with a focus on logistical coordination, security measures, and support services.
Regional Director Asuncion emphasized the importance of 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 between DepEd Caraga and local government agencies in delivering a 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 that will showcase the talent and sportsmanship of student-athletes from across the region.
Mayor Plaza reaffirmed LGU Nasipit's commitment to fully supporting the preparations and ensuring that local infrastructure, utilities, and emergency services are 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 the influx of delegates and visitors.
With this continued collaboration, DepEd Caraga and its partner agencies are ensuring that the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, fostering camaraderie and excellence among young athletes in the region.
