The launch ceremony took place at the Butuan Central Elementary School Multi-Purpose Hall. It was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including Regional ALS Supervisor Mrs. Josephine Chonie Obsenares, CID Chief Dr. Maria Dinah D. Abalos, BCES Principal Mr. Luisito Peru, Division ALS Supervisor Ana Marie L. Ceniza, along with ALS teachers, community ALS implementers (CAIs), and families of the Junior High School learners. This diverse attendance highlights the community's commitment to supporting the educational growth of its youth.

In her speech, Mrs. Obsenares emphasized the importance of providing practical skills and training to ALS learners to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential. "Through the BYOB and WBL programs, we aim to empower our learners to become job creators, not just job seekers," she stated, reinforcing the program's goal to foster innovation and self-sufficiency among the students.

The BYOB initiative focuses on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, while the WBL program provides participants with hands-on work experience. Students will engage in 20 learning modules and complete 80 hours of self-paced, asynchronous learning activities, ensuring a comprehensive preparation for real-world challenges.

Dr. Abalos expressed her appreciation for the ALS program and its partners, stating, "We believe these initiatives will significantly impact our learners' lives and help them realize their full potential." This sentiment was echoed throughout the event as the community rallied around the shared goal of empowering young minds.

The ceremony also featured a detailed presentation of the BYOB and WBL program components, alongside inspiring testimonials from ALS learners who have already benefited from these initiatives. Their stories illustrated the program's transformative power and potential to change lives.

In the afternoon, demonstration teaching showcased the creativity of ALS teachers, who simplified technical concepts and designed engaging group activities to enhance student understanding. The learners' dynamic responses and active collaboration highlighted the effectiveness of the teaching methods and the program's overall impact on their educational journey.

Mr. Luisito Peru, Principal of BCES, welcomed the guests and underscored the importance of these initiatives in shaping the learners' future. His remarks reminded us of the collaborative effort required to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
