Today, I invite you to take a moment to reflect on how these elements relate to the work we do—through the daily efforts and dedication of our teachers and every one of us. Through the light, heat, and color of our being, we continue to shape and bring life to our mission of serving with passion and compassion.

First, we have light. Liwanag. Light has long been a symbol of knowledge, clarity, and guidance. Teachers and school leaders are the light in our communities—they illuminate the path for their students and dispel the darkness of ignorance. They showed us the way toward learning and understanding. Much like a torch, which guides travelers through the night, our teachers, school leaders, and non-teaching personnel provide students with unclouded vision and purpose, empowering them to navigate the complexities of life. With wisdom and dedication, our DepEd Caraga Bulawanong Sulo Awardees enlighten the minds of young learners, helping them see opportunities, discover their potential, and create their destinies.

The second element is heat. Init. Heat symbolizes an unyielding passion, boundless energy, and the burning desire to achieve our shared dreams and triumphs.
