We set goals. These goals focused on specific targets that we need to attain. Setting goals is knowing which way to take and working hard to achieve it.
The second is LOOK AT OUR SIDE. Let us not forget to value the people who appreciate and support us, friends who are there for us in times of success and failure. A friend is somebody who helps us grow as a person. Someone who pulls us down is not a friend. More importantly, it is not about the quantity but the quality of our friends.
The third is LOOK DOWN. Looking down means having humility in victory and success. Let us be like a rice stalk. The more grains it holds, the more it bows. The more we become successful, the more we should be humble. If we possess intelligence, talents, and skills, let us unselfishly share them. Indeed, the more we give, the more we receive. We are remembered best because of our attitude rather than our intelligence. That is why we need to balance our I.Q. and the E.Q. As they say, I.Q. gets you hired, E.Q. gets you promoted.
The fourth is LOOK BACK. Looking back means acknowledging the influence other people have in our lives. Hence, I convey my heartfelt thanks to those who believed in me and made me what I am today. Saying "thank you" is not enough to express my gratitude for their guidance, inspiration, and love for me.
The fifth is LOOK UP. I believe this is the most important. William Carey said, "expect great things from God, attempt great things for God." Let us not forget to give back all the glory to our Almighty God, creator, and savior. If life goes wrong, the only way out is God's way, which is the right way. In Him, everything will become possible. Let us not forget to pray every day and thank Him for the blessings He has given us. Even our failures are blessings in disguise, for these teach us lessons and solutions to all our problems.
Having learned these Five Great Looks in life, I am sure I will reach my goals and dreams as I fulfill my purpose of serving the people in my community.
