𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒

By 𝚂𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙹𝚄𝙽𝙴 𝙲. 𝙲𝙰Ñ𝙴𝚃𝙴 𝚃𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚛 –𝙸𝙸𝙸, 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚌𝚘𝚜 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚘 𝙽𝙷𝚂 𝙰𝚐𝚞𝚜𝚊𝚗 𝚍𝚎𝚕 𝙽𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚎 𝙳𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗻. But how do teachers manifest this love? Or are we here only to think about it and teach it as an abstract concept? As 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 (ESV) says, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” But how do these ideals apply to the situation of our students and teachers these days? Teachers are second parents. As such, they support young minds by giving them proper guidance, treating them with special care, providing a safe environment, and securing their future. Hence, the concrete expressions of love and their meaning go beyond the printed descriptions in books. Moreover, this love will test us, beckoning us to come out of our shells to conquer everything. For us teachers, this love will bear fruit and fulfillment through the respect and love we earn from our learners. And if we inspire them, they will also inspire us. Today, February 14, let love permeate every corner of the classrooms as we express the spirit of kapatiran, bayanihan, mutual support, and most importantly, the indomitable desire for the welfare and well-being of our learners. Let us, therefore, spread this love with our words and actions, and while we are at it, be prepared to receive love in return - because love reciprocates, and it is for free. 🅴🅽🅳   NB.
