Alegria National High School gathers eager campers for NLC 2023

By Alegria National High School On Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023, Alegria National High School hosted the kick-off program for the National Learning Camp (NLC) 2023. The atmosphere was brimming with excitement as eager campers, volunteer teachers or camp masters, parents, the school principal, and valued school stakeholders came together to inaugurate this transformative initiative. The National Learning Camp (NLC) is recognized as a "voluntary learning recovery program" by DepEd, aligning perfectly with the "MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa" agenda set forth by the Department of Education (DepEd) to address crucial challenges in basic education. Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to enhancing the learning experience, the NLC has been thoughtfully crafted to provide enrichment, consolidation, and intervention programs across all learning areas for Kindergarten to 12 learners. Moreover, the program aims to empower teachers and create a dynamic and nurturing educational environment. What made the school's learning camp even more enjoyable were the four different camps participants could choose from: Camp Matatag, Camp Masigasig, Camp Malakas, and Camp Matibay.
